The cleansing agent is a liquid non-ionic surfactant made from vegetable derived fatty acids and glucose, very respectful of the skin, the environment and 100% biodegradable. It is moderately wetting and its cleansing action is mild not to remove essential skin lipids. It is skin compatible and respects the skin’s natural barrier.
Conventional cleansers and soaps often have a pH over 6, too alkaline for the skin. They produce a strong pH incrementation of the natural acid mantle on the surface of the skin that can last for many hours.
